The Human League vs. Greek Fire
Greek Fire set up  Nakita Agents, roman archers and Gorrilinators along the castle wall, providing a fearsome line of ranged defense. The Human League brought up Johnny Sullivan and Deadeye Dan, whose long range and special attacks were able to bypass the Nakita's cloaking power and took out the
entire roman archer squad in the first round.  Subsequent rounds saw the rest of the nakitas and gorillas fall under Deadeye Dan's sniper shots, but not before Krug began assaulting the front door. The mighty beast was able to take the door down to half damage before he was brought down. In a stroke of luck, Kelda was able to quickly fly up to the flag before it could be surrounded with reinforcements, winning the game for The Human League.

Braxas' Blades vs. Mean Machine
The battle started with Mean Machine flying Saylind to the top of the bridge in the middle of the board. Saylind used the Spear of Summoning to summon Syvarris to the bridge with him to start taking out the encroaching samurai who were climbing the bridge quicker than expected.
Syvarris took out one of the samurais but Mean Machine realized Syvarris would quickly be overrun so Saylind then flew to the west and landed on the opposite side of the field. He then used his power to move both Syvarris and the Deathwalker 9000 next to him to start waging ranged attacks.
Syvarris and the Deathwalker were able to effectively kill off the Macdirks as well as decimate the 4th Mass Line. Syvarris was able to continue taking out units but the Samurai were able to withstand the barrage.
Syvarris and the Deathwalker were surrounded by Izumi and Kozuke Samura, Deathwalker was able to withstand a few attacks before finally missing a defense roll and being skewered. Syvarris was able to take out a few units, but ultimately, he succumbed too.
Braxas' Blades were victorious.
Cyber Destruction vs. Mikill Herskari
Some minor confusion began the game, as Jen had too few units, and didn't remember which were ranged, etc. This was evened out by Chris' misunderstanding of the Vikings' abilities. Jen used the synergy of the gladiatrons and blastatrons to get close to Chris' units; but the Vikings swarmed and took the high ground and - with Valguard helping, managed to kill off the ranged units, then chased down the melee units. All that was remaining was the Deathwalker and Major X17, which Nilfheim easily dispatched, winning the contest.
Shut Up and Hit! vs. Piranha Tsunami
Shut Up and Hit! drafted Laglor, meaning there would be 3 unique heroes to only one for the Piranha Tsunami, which brought 14 units. The Tsunami managed to kill off most of my Shut Up and Hit! by about the 3rd round, but at that point Krug had 2 sets of spirit armor and was ready to rumble. The Marro Warriors were repeatedly cloned, however, Krug stepped out of their range, forcing them to engage him. Krug was able to kill off all the remaining Piranha Tsunami, winning the game.
Agents of Fear vs. Legion of Reckoning
The Agents of Fear brought the Krav Maga Agents and the Tagama Samurai, meaning the game would not be easy for the Legion. The Airborne Elite landed on a wall on the second turn, but due to the folly of die rolls, only one unit was killed by grenades. The Tagawa Samurai managed to kill two of the Shaolin monks, although both participants were unaware that the Monks could attack all units that were adjacent until the end of the game. In the end, The Agents of Fear were victorious. Mimring was able to kill off several units before dying, as well.
Mikill Herskari vs. Braxas' Blades
The Blades opted to defend the castle, but kept thestrong melee units (Macdirks) at ground level, in the event the land-based units were able to break down the door. This, however, left big holes in the units at the top of the castle. Once the Aubrien Archers and Syvarris pushed the 4th Mass. Line back (along with some bad advice from Emily's counsel), Nilfheim and Kelda flew to the top, adjacent to the flag. Nilfheim took some wounds, but Kelda healed him, then flew back down to avoid wounds herself. Nilfheim blasted away at the soldiers, while the Macdirks tried to scurry up the ladders. It was no use. The last Mass. Line perished and Nilfheim claimed the flag for victory.
Shut Up and Hit! vs. The Human League
Shut Up and Hit! made the surprising decision to not bring out ANY ranged fire, instead bringing 2 squads of erewolves, and Krug, with Raelin for support, along with a few Dumetef guards. The Human League brought the dual shotgun attacks of James Murphy and Johnny "Shotgun" Sullivan, complemented with the muscle of Alastair Macdirk and his warriors, and a Krug of his own. The battle started badly for Shut Up and Hit!, as the charging werewolves were almost completely decimated by the shotgun brothers' explosive attacks, but the few that managed to get through the hail of buckshot put a serious hurting on the Lawmen. In the end, the battle came down to Krug vs Krug. Shut Up and Hit's Krug was down to 1 life, but having Raelin as backup, allowed him to prevail over The Human League for the win.
Greek Fire vs. Piranha Tsunami
Me-Burq-Sa took advantage of the road to make an early foray deep into enemy territory. Parmenio took a wound, but without backup, Me-Burq-Sa quickly fell to his sword, along with the guns of the Nakita Agents. While the Einar flagbearer and Roman Legionnaires soaked up attacks from Parmenio, the Agents, and the Sacred Band, Major Q9 mowed them all down from behind cover. With no one else left to move save a lone Lawman, the Minions of Utgar moved up, and with their doubled-skull attacks and 6-defense die each, they finally turned Q9 to scrap.
Cyber Destruction vs. Mean Machine
The battle started off with Saylind flying to the top of one of the cliffs on the board where he used his spear of summoning to summon Deathwalker 9000 next to him to start using his explosion special attack from above. His first target was obviously Major Q9 and he was able to take him out with one shot. Things seemed to be going Mean Machine's way. Saylind then flew to the opposite side of the board to the other cliff where he was going to summon the Deathwalker to wage even more Death and destruction on the opposite side of the board. But Cyber Destruction had other plans. They were able to maneuver one of the Death Reavers behind the Deathwalker and quickly ran up the cliff to attack him. Though the DeathWalker was  at a distinct height advantage, as the Death Reaver couldn't quite make it to the top of the cliff, the Death Reaver was still able to attack the Death Walker bv nipping at his feet. incredibly he whiffed his Defense roll and was killed. Both of the heavy guns had been taken out and the battle had barely started. The battle became one big brawl as both sides engaged in melee attacks with one another. Mean Machine was confident however. At the end of the battle only Major X17 and a handful of blastatrons remained standing. Mean Machine was victorious.

Mikill Herskari vs. The Human League
After agonizing over two decisions (1) which side to take and (2) whether to use Kelda or Finn, Mikill Herskari was ready to go. The Human League moved first, moving Krug and the arrow gruts towards the ladder that would give the gruts height advantage. Syvarris jumped out from behind the wall, and fired two shots into the gruts, killing one. Rather than see his only ranged units die (which would've been devastating against Syvarris and the Aubrien Archers), Andrew brought Krug over to the wall to begin attacking the elves. This was a mistake.
Morsbane stepped out from behind the wall, and used his rod of negation to eliminate Krug's special powers. Suddenly, the fearful beast had turned into a 120-pt. fat lump. Nilfheim flew over and began picking off gruts and Macdirks, while the Archers dispatched Krug, leaving The Human League with only two lawmen and two champions (Alistair and Denrick). One lawmen was able to kill Morsbane (as Chris was unable to roll any shields for Morsbane), but Nilfheim's devastating 4-skull attacks on the champions made this game end far more prematurely than Andrew would've liked.
Braxas' Blades vs. Your Mom
Minutemen of the 4th Massachusetts Line hold their home turf while other members of Braxas' Blades advance into enemy territory. The compressed battlefield at Soulrazor Canyon proved ideal to the charging Samurai, and deadly to Your Mom.
Agents of Fear vs. Piranha Tsunami
At previous playings, the Siege on the West Barbican scenario was a massacre, with Mikill Herskari chewing up castle defenders like they were M&Ms. This time, the scenario was a massacre again, but in the other direction. The defenders occupying the wall were the Black Onyx Vipers (10-die defense against ranged attacks), the Krav Maga Agents (one shield blocks all ranged fire),
and Raelin. Between the height advantage, blocking bonus for being behind the wall, and Raelin, the Vipers were rolling 14-defense dice, and the Krav Maga were rolling 7, needing only 1-shield to block. The best the attackers could muster was a 4-die attack, from Major Q9, who despite his greater range, simply could not kill anyone on the wall. Fortunately for him, he did get to at least make one major kill when Mimring came down from the wall to assault the Microcorp Agents and the Shaolin Monks. After turning the dragon into a crimson stain, there was little left for the attackers to do but repeatedly assault the castle, and be mowed down by the unassailable Krav Maga.
Your Mom vs. Cyber Destruction
Me-Burq-Sa laughs derisively as Your Mom's Roman Legionnaires mop up the last pockets of Cyber Destruction's Greek resistance. As every student of history knows, the Romans conquered the Greeks.

The Human League vs. Your Mom
At the start of the game, everything was quickly going The Human League's way. They used Alastair to quickly take the range glyph, and then the shotgun-toting lawmen lay waste to Your Mom's roman legionnaires and ninjas, completely eliminating them.  Meanwhile, Krug sat on the initiative glyph, ensuring The Human League always went first. Your Mom was ready to conceed when he took a desperate chance and tried to snipe Krug with his Deadeye Dan, who was perched high up on the tallest cliff on the board. Disaster struck The Human League when Krug was shot through the eye and taken out by the lawman. On the second turn, Your Mom's deal with the devil continued Johnny Sullivan was killed. The Human League suddenly found itself on the ropes, having lost almost half its army in one round, and ann almost unreachable sniper perched up high. Deadeye Dan's inedible aim, and the timely advance of Marros cloning and recloning gave Your Mom the victory.
Mikill Herskari vs. Agents of Fear
With the Jungle Ruins of Gurtek, Mikill Herskari elected to bring Morsbane, to cancel out special powers from the Agents of Fear. In the early going, things worked well - as Morsbane canceled the special powers of the Elite Onyx Vipers, allowing the Aubrien Archers to pick them off easily. He also canceled the Tagawa Samurai powers, again, making them fodder for Nilfheim. However, three tactical moves doomed Mikill Herskari this game: 1) Not canceling Raelin's power (and instead, awaiting the Krav Maga, which never factored into the game); 2) not having Nilfheim in position to claim the glyph when/if Raelin vacated it; and 3) engaging Agent Carr in hand-to-hand combat with Nilfheim. Nonetheless, it was a very close match, and only the horrendous dice-rolling by Nilfheim stood in the way of a different outcome.
The Human League vs. Braxas' Blades
Braxas did much damage and destruction to The Human League's forces. On the first turn of the game, Braxas flew over and destroyed Kelda with its special power, putting The Human League at an almost instant disadvantage. As the Macdirks, headed by Alastair, made slow gains across the frozen wasteland, The Human League threw everything possible at the mighty dragon.  Finally, Sir Denrick, which his specialty of killing giants, was able to bring the dragon down. Johnny Shotgun Sullivan, the only unit left, was wounded but resting on a high cliff. With his mighty shotgun, he was able to bring down the last of the slowly advancing Macdirks.
Pirnaha Tsunami vs. Mikill Herskari
The Pirnaha Tsunami entered the game winless; and Mikill Herskari was still smarting from its first loss of the season. On the first turn of the game, the Tsunami uncovered the Summoning glyph. They immediately summoned Nilfheim, who found himself surrounded by Roman Legionnaires, Me Burq Sa and Major Q9 blasting away. Nilfheim fought a good fight, but ABSYMAL die-rolling doomed him, and he fell. All that was left was for the Aubrien Archers and Warriors of Ashra to march like lambs to the slaughter.
Your Mom vs. Piranha Tsunami
Even with the defender going first the first round, it's pretty hard to stop the attacker from winning by reaching the far end of the board. However, Your Mom did just that, when Me-Burq-Sa got back to back successful paralyzing stare rolls against Crixus, rendering his special damage-reduction ability worthless. With 4 wounds on their 5 life hero scout at the end of the first round, the Pirhana Tsunami struggled valiantly to push through, mauling swarms of Legionnaires in the process, but in round five, Crixus finally fell, and the game went to Your Mom.
Braxas' Blades vs. Agents of Fear

Braxas' Blades met the Agents of Fear in the hated race game, Under Tempest's Cover, and as usual, the results weren't pretty. The Agents sent a flightless Raelin running toward the far-off glyph of Brandar, and the Tagawa Samurai over the hill as blockers. The Blades mistakenly focused on taking the not-so-important defense glyph, rather than intercepting the runners. Worse, the 4th Massachusetts Line worked its way through the defile, directly into the swords of the waiting samurai, while the rest of Braxas' Blades waited behind. The result brought new meaning to the words “sudden death”.

Your Mom vs. Legion of Reckoning
Marcus Decimus Gallus and the Roman Legionnaires took the high ground and marched their way into the Legion of Reckoning's territory. The Airborne Elite were able to take out a couple of Romans while on the march. But the Romans Shield Wall, +2 attack from a Glyph, and good die rolls were the death knell for the Airborne, and eventually for the Legion of Reckoning as well.

Agents of Fear vs. Latindogs
The game began with the expected rush towards the glyphs. The Latindogs divided forces into two groups and thus secured 3 of the 4 glyphs. The Agents relied on force concentration and secured a single glyph, but managed to station troops very effectively on the major road near the small hills at the center of the board. The forces engaged quickly when the Agents of Fear used the Kozuke Samurai's rushing attacks to harrass some knights at the vanguard of the Latindogs' lines. After the Samurai perished, the Krav Maga agents advanced to deal with the knights. However, they quickly withdrew, and instead, the Tagawa Samurai moved up to block the Latindogs' path. Although they managed to kill one samurai and create a brief gap in the lines, these rash attacks gave the samurai the bloodlust advantage they needed to decimate the knights.
Multi-Player Game
Mikill Herskari and Shut Up and Hit! were at a disadvantage in this game because of the height limit. Shut Up and Hit! skillfully drafted Laglor which not only prevented Mean Machine from drafting him, but also thwarted everyone in the game by being the only character to successfully scale the mountain, grab the glyph, and return it back to home base.  Unfortunately, Mikill Herskari sniped him out right before the turn ended, thus killing him and resetting the glyph back to its home. The small board made it easy for Shut Up and Hit!'s Krav Maga to track the melee-based units of the opponents and eliminate them.
Your Mom vs. Mikill Herskari
On a small map, Nilfheim reigned supreme. Faced with a swarm of Legionnaires and warriors, Nilfheim ran rampant, killing 11 of Your Mom's 14 units, and decimating the army. The gunslingers, lucky in the past, had no luck, as no attempts on Nilfheim succeeded. Mikill Herskari lost but one overzealous archer in the battle.

Shut Up and Hit! vs. Latindogs
Shut Up and Hit! foolishly did not draft any ranged units in this scenario. It proved to be its downfall. The Anubian Wolves moved first and smited Sir Gilbert  and Concan within the first few turns, but that was the extent of their effectiveness without the backing of the mighty Krug. By the time Krug could move, along with Raelin, he was unable to withstand the multitude of attacks from the advancing 4th Massachussets Line and Knights of Weston.
Mean Machine vs. Agents of Fear
Outgunned and outranged by the Mean Machine (DW9000, Gladiatrons, Blastatrons, and Laglor the Flagbearer), the Agents of Fear did the unthinkable: they started the game with no Agents. Instead, they brought the Raelin / Tagawa Samurai combination that has become the core of this team, along with Mimring and the slow-footed Tarn Viking Warriors. Ignoring his own glyph, Mean Machine aggressively sent Laglor and his Gladiatron / Blastatron cohorts deep into the Agents' territory for his glyph. They began shooting up the Tarn Vikings, who miraculously beat them to what turned out to be the defense +1 glyph. With some help from Raelin, they hung on while Mimring destroyed three Blastatrons and two Gladiatrons. Laglor riddled the great dragon with lead, however, and she went down in flames. Upon seeing this, the Tagawa raced up the hill, hewed their way through several Soulborgs, and cut down an untouched Laglor before he could flee. Not heeding Raelin's call for caution, they ran right to end of the field and took a round of fire from DW9000 before reducing the great machine to a pile of scrap. The scenario has since been renamed, "River of Spare Parts.”
Piranha Tsunami vs. Latindogs
The Pirhana Tsunami recovered from their brief stroke of luck to return to their hapless, cellar-dwelling ways. Lots of ranged units would normally shred a bunch of slow attackers, but the combination of a small map and the Latindogs' monster synergy (champion bonding plus a champion flagbearer plus an all Einar army) allowed the Knights to swarm and decimate the Microcorp and Vydar flagbearer.
Shut Up and Hit! vs. Agents of Fear
Shut Up and Hit!, not learning from prior mistakes, did not draft any ranged units. At least this time units triggered a Summoning glyph that allowed Shut Up and Hit! to bring Krug into the middle of the mix. Unfortunately, Shut Up and Hit! made another mistake by not his forces on both sides of the bridge and allowed the Agents' Samurai and Krav Maga to dance about freely on half of the board. The game ended VERY closely, despite these mistakes, but the Agents' last 2 units survived and killed Khosumet.
Mikill Herskari vs. Mean Machine
Mikill Herskari continued its dominance, as Nilfheim eliminated 6 of the 7 units in the Mean Machine army, while no Mikill Herskari units were lost. The Aubrien Archers took down the large Deathwalker, while Nilfheim carved up Major X17, Syvarris and the lowly Blastatrons. An ugly battle for the Mean Machine.
